EVERYONE CAN USE CANNABIS IN CANADA…BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES?
One thing I’ve learned these past months writing the Crafted blog is that former professional athletes would rather take cannabis than prescription pain meds to deal with their aching everything. Every week or so there is another past star of football or baseball praising the almighty marijuana for not only helping them deal with their pain but also helping them get back to living life.
Canada has a few professional sports teams. Baseball, Hockey and Basketball. I think they have a professional football league there too but I’m too high to check.
So now that Canada has declared its land Cannabis-legal and everyone is free to smoke and vape and eat and drink weed and even fly with it…you would think it would be A-ok for say, the Maple Leafs to spark up a bunch of joints after winning the Stanley Cup?
It is an interesting question, and one without a simple question.
You have to read the attached article to get the answer. We’re being assholes today, sorry.
