CALIFORNIA BANS CBD DRINKS IN BARS AND LIQUOR STORES
And just like that, one of the biggest trends in upscale cannabis circles has seemingly ended. And in California, no less. The Wild Wild West has been tamed.
Gov. Jerry Brown has just signed a law that prohibits the sale of CBD cocktails in any public establishment.
Called AB2914, it in part reads “This bill would prohibit an alcoholic beverage licensee from, at its licensed premises, selling, offering, or providing cannabis or cannabis products, including an alcoholic beverage that contains cannabis or cannabis products, and would provide that no alcoholic beverage shall be manufactured, sold, or offered for sale if it contains tetrahydrocannabinol or cannabinoids, regardless of source.”
Pretty lame if you ask us. We are guessing this also applies to food served in restaurants, too. But there doesn’t seem to be anything about it, just focusing on the beverages.
Eat up some fancy cannabis meals at a nice restaurant while you can!
